What is Microdermabrasion?

What is Sonophoresis  ?

Sonophoresis is a safe, gentle treatment that uses ultrasonic technology, warmth and motion energy to significantly increase the depth and absorption rate of active ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin.

How does it work ?

The skins natural waterproofing barrier can often impede the absorption of active ingredients. The oil/ water bi-layers in the stratum corneum act  as a defence barrier that serves to protect the lower layers of the dermis. Sonophoresis works by using the ultrasonic technology to relax this natural barrier by opening up the intracellular pathways to allow the active ingredients to be absorbed by the skin.
