Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating, most often under the arms. It is a recognised medical condition, and there are non-surgical options that may help manage it.

Good to know
How it works
Where suitable, treatment uses a prescription medicine injected into the skin of the underarm to reduce the activity of sweat glands in that area.
What to expect
Any reduction in sweating usually develops over one to two weeks and is temporary, typically lasting several months. Response varies between people.
Risks and suitability
All procedures carry risks. Common short-term effects can include redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising at the treatment site; less common risks are explained at your consultation. Treatment isn't suitable for everyone, including during pregnancy or breastfeeding and with some medical conditions.
Pricing
Under current AHPRA and TGA advertising rules, we can't publish prices for treatments involving prescription-only medicines. Costs are explained in full at your consultation, once we know whether treatment is suitable and what it would involve.
Every procedure carries risks, and results vary. We'll talk through both before anything goes ahead.
